Well as of today I am finally finished with my Christmas shopping for my cute hubby. And I also cannot wait for next wednesday- because I have another Doctors appointment at MWC (Millcreek Woman's Center) and while at that appointment I will most likely be able to hear the heartbeat of my baby. Super excited.
My two older sisters, my mother, and I are going to be doing a Christmas Boutique this year, We are selling mostly baby items, such as Car Seat Canopies, Bibs, Burp Cloths, and Hair accessories (as in headbands for all ages and clips as well.) So far we have a bit of a way to go with making things (in my opinion) but they all look very nice. You can find us on Facebook at Sweet Pea Baby Design as well on Etsy.
John, I think is slowly coming around to the idea of me having our baby. I guess his sister is having problems with getting pregnant and we both think it would be nice to name the baby after her if its a girl. (Jennifer Anne)

The Current Update...
Well for those who didn't know I got a job at a facility as a CNA at a place called Cottonwood Creek Retirement Community. There was a specific resident who had gotten really angry at me and then the following weekend, I had called and called and called to get my schedule and no one would even give it to me. So I had to go in right before my shift started that I didnt even knew I had to go to and then realized that, YES I do have to be at work like NOW. I was not happy and they were not helping at all. So in the end I quit....Yes I know its not the smartest thing to have done right now. But honestly I was sick of the way I was being treated by the staff and the residents. Especially with one of the coworkers who goes by the name Alex, she would come into work and then disappear most likely thinking that it was okay to make me do all the work, and then even after talking to the Nurse she sent me a text and said that Alex was doing her job, when she still wasnt this really pissed me off and this all happened around the same time....GR!!!
Well today John and I went to Vernal for a police position for him, unfortunately he didn't pass the test to their standards so basically it was a waste of time and money...and once we had just barely parked in the police department parking lot, and after purchasing McDonald's breakfast I was quickly unable to finish....due to the fact that I am 8 weeks pregnant....It was definitely not fun, but thankfully I was able to keep everything else in on the way back and all but it still sucked....
Anyway that's about it...BUT we will surely keep you updated.

Yay! Finally!
On Monday afternoon we were able to buy the Jeep we had been looking at. It does have a few problems though and it sucks...BUT it will be a good SUV I s'pose.
I decided to take my Bishop's advice and look for a CNA job. So I applied at The Wentworth today.
My mother and I babysat for my sister and her husband today while they attended the Utes game. Unfortunately the Utes lost pretty badly...which is rather sad (I personally think- I like them much more than BYU)
Well I will post some pictures of our new Jeep sooner or later.

Woo freakin hoo!!!
So today we celebrated my 2nd cousin's birthday at The Hogle Zoo it was a lot of fun, and while I was there I received a text message asking about John's Ford Crown Victoria- later we were able to sell it! YAY! We also put a deposit down for a Jeep Cherokee we have been looking at for maybe a little over a week? (I think)
Anyway while at the zoo Canon was having a day where you could rent one of their cameras and a lens and take pictures and such- so Beth and I decided we wanted to do just that and we were able to get some pretty good shots of the different zoo animals. I also took some nice pictures of Aynsley (my cute little niece- who was mentioned in a previous blog post) and of course Jaxson was a cute little bugger and was having fun while at the zoo.
Yep well now that we have sold the crown vic. we will be getting the Jeep and a Honda Civic hatchback (for John) I think we are both pretty excited about getting that car sold and getting an all wheel drive car! and all...
Well thats it for this one, I am just really excited about being able to get a Jeep and all haha.

crazy days
Well John and I listed his car on www.ksl.com and finally someone has contacted us saying they want to come look at it! We've had about 350 views and only 1 person has contacted us! Crazy I know!
While yesterday I received a letter from the police department stating that I have an item in their Evidence room or something, so it's been about 2 years since I have seen this phone (the item that has been in their custody) and I kind of miss using it- but I am very glad that I have an iPhone. (so I listed my old Samsung Sway on www.ksl.com)
So yesterday after looking at a Honda Accord and the Jeep at Wallace Auto- John and I came back to the house and he was looking up more cars- in the end he found a near perfect Jeep, but it sold... that same day it was listed it was rather disappointing. But I am sure that there will be more out there.
Thats about it. We'll keep you posted on the car hunt! And everything else that goes about!

slowly moving forward
Well we have yet to find the close to perfect car...
Apparently T-Mobile has been a little butt and decided to charge us even more for picture messaging...so John is a bit upset about that seeing he can send but not receive pictures- when before he could (for free)
I made TWO skirts within a day. The first one turned out to be ok, but the second one oh man I love it! (they both fit perfectly which is always a plus seeing I have never been able to get my handmade articles of clothing to fit) The first one has a black and white almost kind of a checkered pattern to it while the other is all black (with both black and purple thread) I don't know maybe I am crazy but I ♥ em!
Both John and Holly are good, I on the other hand keep getting hurt in one way or another....I think I have hit my "funny bone" at least 3 times today...yeah definitely not a fun one...but hey it could be worse I s'pose.
Well thats about it for now.

disappearing cars...+ a baby niece
We're still searching for a car and they all seem to be disappearing before our eyes. It's getting rather frustrating. Oh well we'll find one sooner or later.
But I guess the good news about everything is that Kristin's sister, Lisa, had her baby girl on Labor Day (Sept 5th) She is really cute- they decided to name her Ainsley Marie.
We're doing well and not giving up on finding a car. Things have been good well better since our last fight on Saturday.
We'll see what goes about and keep you updated.

The first week of September!
Well it has almost been a year since we got engaged. Pretty exciting I think. Well here's how we spent our first week of September together.
We organized our living space and sent some storage over to my parent's neighbor's, Sophie's, house and that took at least an hour just to get around 8-12 big tubs of random stuff over to her house and into her basement. But it was worth it, now we have a VERY open living area :)
We have been cleaning, and cleaning, and cleaning. But once again its worth it since its making our living space a much more welcome area for us both.
John surprised me by bringing home a bouquet of roses <3 as well as a few days later he brought an almost new Macbook from his old job home (he paid $400 for it so basically it was a steal-in my opinion)
We went to Springville, UT to get his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and brought it up to Sandy- Where my brother in law and possibly soon to be brother in law and my dad were admiring it, oh and my oldest sister as well. I think he is very glad to have ridden it all the way back since he hasn't since the move out of the apartment in Provo, UT.
I have a job interview at 11:30 this morning at Jamba Juice woohoo; lets hope I get the job!
Yeah thats basically it. Besides having the occasional fight here and there. Things have been pretty good. We are planning on getting me a dress pattern so I can have something to wear to church for once haha- besides my white skirt that we bought maybe about a year ago?
Oh yes we saw my "joints" doctor. John was not thrilled at all seeing he (the doctor) just upped and left his patients hanging for a while and finally decided to show his face to work....(basically I was waiting for my 9:15 appointment for over 45 minutes to be seen- already had my x-rays done and was waiting nicely to be seen.) and that really ticked John off and if I hadn't already had my x-rays we would have upped and left because that was definitely not ok for the doctor to almost stand us up like that. But in the end we found out I have "loose joints" aka my shoulders and my knees are both loose apparently...which is obviously not a good thing.
Holly is good just being a fiesty little butt and loves to bark at children which you would think she wouldn't but who knows; my nephew Jaxson was over yesterday since it was Curry Sunday and we had just about everyone over- except for my cousin and her family- they are in Nevada- anyway Jaxson looooooooooooves to play with Holly it's SUPER cute with his facial expressions and such. And I just remembered that Holly will be a year old next month!!! Crazy!!! Ah how I love my cute little family.

All Moved In
Well we have almost been all moved in for almost a full week!
Holly loves having her friends Mookie and Abbie back to play with her.
John has been working odd shifts...which isn't fun for any of us. But we're getting by. Which is always good. Especially since we are living in my parents small basement.
I saw my knee (well joints) doctor today and I have "loose joints" this includes my shoulders (which isn't the best thing I spose) seeing that if I were to move my arms a certain way that they could possibly tear the cartilage and depending on the size of tear that isn't a good thing and would have to go in for surgery...yeah not good. He didn't say much about my knees though which have been hurting a lot a lot...basically he said not to bend them for long periods of time...John wasn't very happy with him since he was about 45 minutes late to seeing me.
Yup well thats about it for now!
We'll keep you posted on more of whats going on in our life!

woohoo...I am back!
Well I got back in town yesterday afternoon and it was fun...but then in the middle of the night (when I woke up out of the blue...) I realized my entire body was aching...(especially my shoulders).
I was so exhausted when John came to visit (yes visit! He didnt stay..) that all we did was get panda express and that wasnt very yummy like it normally is...and walked through walmart then he drove me home. That was it...yup and he looks like shaggy from scooby doo (his hair is long and shaggy and he's got a beard going on...I dont like it..at all)
yeah thats about it...

and the circle continues...
Well last night John and I had a major fight...but he apologized for calling me a bitch...So I guess its a start. We agreed to work things out and that he is going to compromise and such. So I am flying back Saturday morning. And honestly I don't know how I am going to entertain myself for roughly about a 5 hour flight. So we'll see, maybe I will read Safe Haven again, or maybe I won't we'll just have to see what goes about I guess.
I wish I had a new Sarah Dessen book to take with me on my flight- and If I had any money I would go buy one tomorrow and save it for the plane ride. Maybe I can convince my parents to put about $15 in my account...maybe.
Mmmm I just love how my bed already has stains on it...(I honestly dont know what they are from...which is SUPER gross) although some are mascara smears from crying (we dont need to get into that) but most are from who knows what...UGH I seriously HATE my hair...I just wish I could save it all off, but I know I would be super miserable if I did that...I guess I am just very annoyed with a lot of things right now ie: this netbook, my hair, clothes in general, my phone from verizon, etc...
But anyway I just wanted to share the news that I will be going back to UT after all on Saturday...so yeah thats about it...

Basically John and I were working things out, and I was supposed to go back to UT on Saturday (practically 3 days away)...but it looks like that wont happen. I got all of my hopes up thinking that maybe just maybe this time things would work out...but no...that is not the case and with him it never will be...
When I told him my opinion on compromising things...that was a "mistake" he blew up in my face and as usual he said that there was no compromising anymore and that we had to do things either his way or its the highway...but that is definitely NOT how a marriage works EVER.
So basically I am stuck in California until further notice...I should have seen this coming, seriously...this is typical John...says he will do one thing and then twists his words to his liking a few days to a month later to make him in control of the situation...and then his story changes...I feel like this is ALL MY FAULT! I could have prevented getting married soooooo many times...and now I am stuck in a marriage that my own "husband" doesn't well didn't even want in the first place...
This has gotten soooo bad that I finally cracked and asked for a blessing...Which I should remind you IS NOT LIKE ME! At all! I NEVER ask for them even when I know it would help sooo sooo much....I guess I am just stubborn and have a stupid pride issue where I have a hard time asking for things I either need or think would be good for me (I guess thats one way to put it)
But I dont know I guess its just so hard to be in an unhappy marriage that neither of you really wanted (thats how I see it as...because I was happily dating another guy when John swooned me over -both when I was dating around and when I was recently broken up with him-John)...and then to see all of your friends (or acquaintances) that you have met/made along the years are all happily married. I mean I have tried sooo hard to get away from him and now I am stuck with him until further notice...And on top of that I am sure I have lost at least 5 lbs since I arrived here in CA..I just wish that for once in my life a guy would give a fuck about me and actually treat me with respect- that I rightfully deserve...but apparently everyone else in this world seems to believe otherwise...that 1. I don't deserve to be happy, and 2. that I don't deserve to be treated with any respect because I am apparently a cold hearted bitch....Basically right now I would give anything to have either a happy marriage or to be killed instantly in a car accident...or even drown..because seriously my life sucks ass right now. I have no job, no money,no car, and my dog is being held captive by my soon to be ex husband who keeps her locked up for hours on end...I miss her like crazy...I havent had her in my possession since maybe february of this year...I only had her for maybe like 3 months before he whisked her away...
I seriously cannot take this pain anymore, its seriously killing me and I dont feel welcome at church so I dont ever go anymore...which isnt good but still I just wish John would get his head out of his ass and realize that what he is doing is NOT OK! I mean maybe if we lived in like the 20's then maybe it would be ok but still anyway I think I am gonna go cry myself to sleep now...and maybe I will sleep better tonight (at least my migraine left- for now anyway)

UGH this blows big time...
Basically since my last post at 12:45 I have yet to sleep! Grrrrrr VERY frustrated....especially since the world is asleep I cant even manage to get cozy and fall asleep gay. Plus I am still not even that tired....maybe, maybe I will be able to sleep within the next half an hour...

12:45 am and all is good
Haha so today has been rather interesting....
Woke up at 3:00 PM -it was a very much needed sleep length
decided since the day was practically gone I needed to get up...talked to John and checked my mass amounts of messages and went on Facebook (basically the norm)
was up for a total of 3 hours before taking a nap for an hour and a half
went into the kitchen to get a bowl of cereal (basically what is keeping me alive haha....cereal and root beer)
hung out for a few hours and then got a call from a friend saying there was a party at 9:30-1:30 am decided I needed to get out of the small bedroom of mine...So I drive out to where its at....decide I am starving for some food- so I leave. Haha
Go out and drive some more and find a Wendy's get a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger and a value fry. YUM! Then I realize no drink? I need some Coffee :) From my favorite all time place the 711! (my card kept getting declined...so the nice guy at the register told me not to worry about it...AHHH how nice- he was a creeper though thats for sure haha)
And now I am here with a headache....sad day! BUT on the bright side 6 days until I get to see my darling husband and baby girl <3 ah how I missed them so :) It'll be nice to have this "awesome" vacation behind me... but yeah I am SUPER stoked for saturday to roll around YAY! Plus my mother is going to find some pallets for me so I can make a sweet coffee table yeah!

John's was more busy-like and putting cutie pie Holly in time out for peeing on the freakin sofa...packing, sleeping, watching Friends, and making some dinner, sleeping, packing and sleeping haha yeah I think thats basically it...I think haha

BUT on the bright side 6 days until I get to see my darling husband and baby girl <3 ah how I missed them so :) It'll be nice to have this "awesome" vacation behind me... but yeah I am SUPER stoked for saturday to roll around YAY! Plus my mother is going to find some pallets for me so I can make a sweet coffee table yeah!

John's was more busy-like and putting cutie pie Holly in time out for peeing on the freakin sofa...packing, sleeping, watching Friends, and making some dinner, sleeping, packing and sleeping haha yeah I think thats basically it...I think haha

8 days to go!
...Eight days away from being back home with my cute hubby and the rest of my family, can't wait!
I had my parents send a duffle bag type of suitcase and well I may be able to get everything, well almost everything to fit (with the exception of the twin sized comforter, a large standing lamp, and a bucket of some sort that I had purchased here in CA). Yes I would love to take the standing lamp with me to add to our collection of almost non existent furniture but still if it wont fit into a duffle bag then it'll have to wait.
Although things may seem to be going well...today was not one of those extremely happy days...I needed to call Gold's Gym about my membership...basically it'll cost me OVER $700 JUST TO CANCEL it! Even though I have NEVER once used it! Yeah it sucks...and the person I was talking to I think he said his name is "Yuki" yeah he was very vicious! (In my opinion) wouldn't even let me get a freakin word in! GR!
Yeah thats basically it for today...Although I really wish my flight was for tomorrow...and not the following week....sooooooo very lame! Oh well hopefully it will go quickly like this stupid week has haha. Yes I am still a bit upset with Gold's (by the way(in my opinion) they OVER charge on EVERYTHING! I definitely DO NOT recommend getting a membership with them! As my husband would put it- they are SHARKS!) haha
Yay my food is almost done, another 15 more minutes to go :) maybe this time it wont be super gross...(but you never know until you try) haha

Relax, Breathe, & Smile
Well things are slowly looking up :)
Basically we just need to remember those three {technically four} words..."relax, breathe, & smile" Stress may have an advantage over us, but we have a choice on whether to let it win us over or not. As for me {Kristin Rice} I am not letting it control my life {at this current moment in time}
I am excited to be finally going home to my hubby and family after a looooooooong and extremely stressful summer. John purchased my one-way plane ticket back to Salt Lake, Utah only a few days ago. And the anticipation is seriously getting to me....its not even a week away and I am already worried about how I am going to decorate our tiny, tiny "basement apartment" when I get back I cant wait to be home with my dear family and friends on the 20th!
I have decided I am going to be a happier person or try to be anyway {in anything that I do}. This would include:
- not picking fights with anyone I come in contact with- something that I am very good at...no I am not proud of it...
- smile often
- make unnoticed yet kind gestures.
- keep my living space(s) clean and organized...since a clean house is a happy house {or so they say}
- exercise even if this means using Wii fit.
and of course
- eating healthier
Ahhh I was just thinking how nice it will be to see my baby girl again :) as in my puppy {not for long- she'll be a year in October} Holly, she is my sweetheart and my princess- I enjoy spoiling her very much- haha oh just wait till we get pregnant {which wont happen for a while} but oh boy will that child of ours be spoiled...haha
If any of you happen to know of some cheap yet cute DIY home decor projects Please send them my way! With either a link on how to make it or the directions! Here are some things I would like to do:
anything with a monogrammed "R"
some type of a room divider (for the living room type area and a makeshift kitchen/dining area)
a way to separate the "bedroom" from the rooms listed ^ {above}
decorative pillow covers
blankets {one of my favorite things to quilt/sew}
storage solutions {including a closet replacement} seeing there is no closet haha

Life
Well things have been pretty hectic these past few summer months.
My grandfather almost died. But thankfully survived, so my mother and I came out to CA to help out. Then there was a misunderstanding between JR and myself. So in the end I stayed here to help while my mother went back to UT.
While I have been out here helping, JR basically lost his job at Credit Attorney, and had to reapply for the same company up in SLC. {they are more like or were sister companies} So while I am stuck here he has been moving everything out of the what used to be cute 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. {just as recent as half an hour ago, he found mold under my side of the bed}...YUCK...
Thankfully my parents are letting us move into their basement until we can find a nicer apartment. And become stable again. I think it'll be nice for Holly to have her friends back in her life. {Meaning Mookie and Abbie} I think she'll be very happy to be able to play with them again haha.
Anyway hopefully within the next few weeks I will be back in UT

sadness in the air....
So Kristin's granparents are not doing too well, so she and her mother are headed off to CA for at least a week.
We still have yet to figure out what is going on with the Ford Crown Vic. We just bought a new battery for it yesterday, and a new starter for it a few days before that. One of our friends, Matt W. was over to help us figure it out, but he then left to go and do some research as well. This has been a very large and exhausting headache for us both.
Yesterday was John's company picnic and it was fun, for the most part, we both wanted to leave sooner rather than later. But we ended up staying for the entire time (I think.) It was just a little uncomfortable for Kristin, since some of John's co workers do not approve...
Haha, so our cute-as-a-button, puppy, Holly, is so silly. She loves to chew on John's dirty socks, Kristin thinks she has taken at least 3 of them away from her just today! And its only 9:30 AM!! Crazy...haha but its sort of silly and all but super cute at the same time.
Well thats about all there is today...We will keep you updated on the here and now of our lives...

summer fun?
Well as I have said before John's car died, but we are hopefully getting it fixed today. Then once that is taken care of we will be maybe go camping :) Woo hoo!!! I <3 camping haha.
Yesterday John and I went to our new ward. We would have stayed for all of it except John's allergies were acting up and he said there was a lot of perfume. So we only stayed for Sacrament Meeting. But it should be a good ward (hopefully) anyways.
But yeah thats about it...haha yeah we'll update you on more stuff that goes on :)

ugh...
Well John and I are thinking that I might have Fibromyalgia :( ICK yeah....it sucks but I fit pretty much ALL of the criteria :( I never knew that sleeping, being anxious, and some other things were probably from the possibility of having Fibro...IT SUCKS!!! I am always in pain and always tired... The pain just started not to long ago but the sleepiness, being anxious/depressed, and memory loss has been going on for a while now.
Anyways I am hoping to find a job down here in Provo as a CNA i just printed out some applications the other day and have filled them out now I just need to go and turn them in. So things are slowly getting better I guess you could say. Right now Holly is playing with a dryer sheet haha. She looks really cute and funny when she is.
But yeah thats my news for the day. Oh and John's car refuses to start. I think he should sell it for as much as he can and then use that money to go towards a car for him...but yeah well see what he chooses to do.

updateness...
so not a whole lot has been going on... But what has been going on it this:
John accidentally sent his phone in the washing machine, not realizing it was in his front pants pocket it completely died. Not that it wasnt dying anyways. But he got a new one and is still trying to figure it out.
I am trying to find a job somewhere besides Bountiful. So that I can move back to Provo and be with John and Holly. So I am trying to find a job as a CNA down there or some where other than there (aka Bountful) lol.
But unfortunately we are still looking for a car...they all seem to dsappear before our eyes.
Um well yeah thats about it.. :)

fun fun fun in the sun
Well I started a Nanny job up in Bountiful, UT and finally passed my CNA test. So now we are basically waiting to get our marriage license back so I can get my license changed, and change my name on my CNA certificate.
Holly has been doing well, as has John. A few weeks ago John and I were giving Holly a haircut and accidentally clipped her ear...pretty bad too so it was bleeding for a while. We had to put super glue on it to make it stop...she was VERY brave though and didn't even whine or cry. Yay! haha
Um well not a whole lot has been going on. I am trying to find a job as a CNA down here in Provo but not so much luck....John is planning on applying for a job in Bountiful and Murray (hopefully he'll get the job) haha. Well John is on his way back from visiting his Uncle's and I am currently at the Library so I should be going. I will try to get back on and write more later. (But all in all life is pretty boring right now haha)

Its been too long
Well I am here at the library just down the street from our house, nothing too exciting has been going on- except that my family may be coming over on sunday for a pasta-rif-ic dinner haha. We'll see though. So right now John and I are looking at Jeeps and cars, and also Tattoo designs. But unfortunately I have to go to Lehi to go retake my CNA test....So Lame....well until we get internet, I may have to come here (to the library) and continue up with my blog. haha.
I am not excited to have to drive,walk, or ride a bike to get here till that point but it is the internet and it will be useful to use. Haha + it will be nice to be out of the house every so often. I will have to make a weekly trip or something. haha.
Unfortunately I have about a half an hour left before my time is up on here, so I better get going any ways, since I need to be leaving for Lehi at about 2:45 so yeah...

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Today while I was home alone with our puppy, Holly, I was pretty bored, so I cleaned, unpacked, and I decided to attempt to make some chocolate chip cookies. The dough tasted really good. I think I may have added a little too much Vanilla Extract...But nonetheless the dough does taste delicious. It was also the first thing that I have ever made in the kitchen to our Apartment! Hooray!
I also called Mountainland ATC to retake my CNA test. So While I was bored I decided to make some note cards with my abbreviations. So I can study them. I almost got all of my abbreviations onto the note cards.
Well right now John is cleaning out the closet from his old house. (The place where he lived before we got married) Yeah so while he is taking care of that I decided to check my email, facebook, and update our family blog.
But before we came back to his old place of inhabitance.We stopped at The Home Depot, and the Dollar Store. We picked up some laminate floor cleaner, for our apartment, and then some other cleaners at the Dollar Store, for when we are cleaning the old home of John's; also our own home as well. So yeah- after wards we will be going to get some pizza and then finally head back to our lovely apartment, where I am sure we will engulf ourselves with as much food as we can.
John passed his Police Final with a 91% so he will be graduating tomorrow! Yay! It's rather exciting for everyone. And we would have celebrated but we are low on the means of money right now since we were just married. Which is true for most newly weds. Haha. Anyways that is the update for today.

Yay almost there!
So John and I are almost, almost finally moved in! Yippeeeee! We have been sleeping at our apartment more and more lately. And today I was going to make chocolate chip cookies to find out that I dont have everything that I need to make them....Its rather sad.
But I am excited to be possibly getting a tattoo soon! woot woot! I am thinking like stars/butterflies or both, but I am not entirely sure, prolly both of them combined in a unique way. (butterflies because its my favoritest cousins favorite animal, and stars because I believe that one can reach for the stars no matter what anyone tells them)
So its pretty exciting, getting all moved in and such + my parents are throwing us an open house on saturday and we have already received 4 hand towels, 4 normal towels, and 1 large family picture frame. We are both really excited to see what we get haha. But yeah anyways we'll see what goes about.

We spent the first night at our apartment last night! It was a lot of fun.(I thought it was anyway) haha.
So we finally were able to get a couch! and it fits perfectly in our small living room! We built it and so it wasnt a problem getting it into the apartment, HOORAY! We also were thinking that our custom made bed (made by John) wouldn't fit but sure enough we were very wrong, and we got it to fit! Yay!
Later we went to Ikea, there we got a nice sized shag rug that pretty much covers the majority of the floor (not quite but almost) and its very nice and soft. As well as some rugs for the kitchen (just some cheap $4 rugs) and then two pillows and some nice pillow sham type covers.
Before going to Ikea, we went to a dealership to look at an '06 PT Cruiser, well in other words it is a POS car. So I think we may be getting me the Suzuki :) haha or a bike will do just fine. While I was test driving it, I could barely crank the wheel, because the power steering was out...and there were some other things wrong with it as well. We also ventured to a bike shop, to find out that they close at 5 pm on Saturdays...so we ventured to another one, where the bikes I like were at least $300...yeah but the one I really like it SUPER cute :) Then John dropped me off at my parents, as he waited in the car. While I went to go say hello to my family. It was nice to be home, but I am glad that I don't live there anymore haha.

It has been a slow process...but we are getting there surely. Yesterday we were able to fit a larger chair into the apartment, yay! And now its just time to take apart the bed and try to get it to fit into the apartment; which should be very interesting.
Yesterday I attempted to make twice baked potatoes, I think it will be easier once I have a way to actually mash the potato...like a mixer for example- which I do not have, not yet anyways. But in the end they tasted pretty good....Although I did mis-hear John saying how he wanted to try one, and I accidentally put pepper on it, so in the end he didn't eat it.
Oh yeah I also found my CNA books Hooooraaaaay! So now I can study and call to retake the test!

This is the day that John and I finally said "I Do." It wasn't a big elaborate wedding, just a small wedding at the courthouse; with two random people to be witnesses. We are very excited to finally be married. We are currently moving to a small cute 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment, in Provo. I will be glad to post pictures later once we are fully moved in and the place is nice and clean.
Sometime in between yesterday and Wednesday the 27th.
We had purchased a couch and it took FOR-EV-ER to get it to our front door....but sadly it would not fit through the door..so the following day we sold it! WOOHOO! it had caused us sooo much stress and frustration that it was actually nice to see it go...plus on top of that we made $20 on it! (We had purchased it for $80 and sold it for $100) nice :)
Yesterday (May 4, 2011) Is our one week anniversary. Its crazy to think that we have already been married for a whole week! I have already made two technically three dinners. One wasn't the best but it was still tasty. (I had made baked chicken and croissant rolls) the chicken was HUGE and could have been cooked a little longer. Then I think it was the night we sold our couch that I had made pasta with the really tasty sauce called "Four Cheese Alfredo" it was delicious! Except the noodles could have cooked just a little longer. Oh well at least I am cooking right?
Well I gotta go and start packing stuff into the car to take to the apartment.
